Dear Maqbool,
I just had your letter. My eyes became dim and heart began t throb when I read about the untimely and sudden demise of your mother. This news was so shocking that I lost my wits for some time.
The news about the dramatic and sudden death of your mother came like a bombshell to me. This is an irreparable loss. Her death has left a vacuum in the family. When I visited you last year, i9 saw her quite hale and hearty. She used to tell us so many things. Incidents and anecdotes. I really used to enjoy her company. She used to love me like a son. I cannot forget this great loss.
How she brought you up and made you a man is better known to you. She fulfilled all your needs.
You should not take this death to heart. It is a stage in the life of man, wherein everyone is helpless. Nobody can avert the decree of fate. So, you should try to console your younger sisters and brothers in this hour of sorrow. I send my heartfelt sympathies to the entire family. I pray to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
