Happiest Day of My Life Essay
Happiness is a great blessing of God. There have been many happy days in my life, but the day I was really happy was the day I passed the S.S. Examination. It was really the happiest day of my life.
It was the 25th of August, 2002. I was anxiously waiting for the result of my S.S. Examination. I was a science student. I had studied round the clock to get through the examination with very good marks. My admission to First-Year (Pre-medical) Class depended on my acquiring very good marks. I had done my papers well but I was worried.
One day, at about 9 o’clock, my elder brother brought a newspaper. It was on the 25th of August. He seemed to be very happy. He told that the result of the S.S. examination had been declared. My father took the newspaper from him and began to find out my roll number. My heart was beating very fast. My father abruptly cried out:
“Well done, my son! You have got a very good First Division”.
I thanked God to know that I had acquired eight hundred marks out of nine hundred. My joy knew no bounds. My parents, brothers, and sisters congratulated me. My mother kissed me with affection. All of my family members were overjoyed.
My father at once announced to arrange a very grand feast on the same evening to celebrate my grand success in the examination. He also invited all of his friends. My friends and kith and kin congratulated and garlanded me. They also offered me various gifts. After the feast, sweets were also distributed among the poor and children. I was really very happy.
To conclude, the 25th of August, 2002, was really the happiest day of my life. I cannot forget this day. It is the memorable day of my life. This day brought countless joys for me and for my parents because this day was the beginning of my bright future.
