Dear Father,
You will be glad to know that I have done well in the final examination. Today was the last day of examination. The college is closing for summer vacation from tomorrow onwards.
I am writing this letter to tell you that an educational trou is being organized by the college. It is a fifteen days tour and will commence from the first of the next month. Places of historical, industrial and scenic interest will be visited during this tour.
Expenses will not be very high. You may send me just five hundred rupees for my sundry expenses. Two of our professors will escort the tour.
I shall be eagerly looking forward to your letter of permission.
