Introduction of Lesson 15 – The Angel and the Author and Others Summary

The followers of all divine religions know that they will be held responsible for their good or bad deeds. Being alive, we rarely bother ourselves with the fact. But close to death, we feel the importance of our deeds. We suddenly feel shocked to find less good and more bad deeds. We remember our good deeds time and again to console ourselves that Allah Almighty may forgive us.

One night, the writer has a dream. He finds himself flying to the heavens with an angel. He becomes worried about his life hereafter. So he asks the angel about the good deeds he himself has done. The angel assures him that all his deeds have been written carefully, whether the writer remembers or not. But, out of his fear and anxiety, he keeps on enquiring about his deeds before facing his Mighty Creator. This is a lesson that Jerome wants all of us to learn that we should all take care of our good deeds. We should do many good deeds before leaving this world.
