Rajendra Prasad was the first unanimously elected 1st president of India. He was elected as president on 26th January 1950 and remained President till 12th May 1962. From 1947 to 1950 before the adoption of Indian Constitution almost 14 persons remained President before him. But he (Rajendra Prasad) was the first president of Indian.
