Once a man had a very strange hen. It laid golden eggs. He could get only one egg daily. He thought that at this rate he would become a rich man after a very long time. He wanted to become rich all at once. In his opinion, the belly of the hen was full of golden eggs. He killed the hen and cut it open. There were no eggs inside. Thereupon he repented. But there was no use crying over the spilt milk.
